ACIDO Rocket 2024 Jury Panel & Sponsor
On May 25, Artellix’s principal Cynthia Damar-Schnobb joined the team of jury for ACIDO Rocket 2024. Hosted at the University of Toronto's Brennan Hall, top graduating students, nominated by their respective schools from Carleton University, Humber College, OCAD University, and Sheridan College brought their final-year projects to pitch to a jury of industry professionals.
Artellix is also a proud sponsor of the Design Communication Award, which was won by Anna Keefe, a Sheridan College student, for her project Ohm Shadow Scape. Anna also secured 2nd place, and is the recipient of the Category Breakthrough Award.
The Design Communication Award is given to a project display that can stand on its own, clearly describing the product with concise information, beautiful graphic design, and illustrations. Anna's pitch supported her project with clarity, in-depth knowledge, and professionalism.
The project's theme revolves around placemaking, a concept that is near and dear to the Experiential Design industry. Ohm Shadow Scape is a well-rounded project with excellent form-giving, mechanism, material texture, and ergonomic considerations, as well as interactivity in both tactile and digital realms. Congratulations, Anna!
