Provincial Offences Administrative Accommodation
Artellix has been engaged by the City of Brantford to develop a comprehensive wayfinding strategy and signage implementation for the Provincial Offences Administrative Accommodation project. In collaboration with NGA Architects, Artellix will provide strategic guidance to ensure intuitive navigation and clear communication within the renovated facility.
The relocation and renovation of the Brantford Provincial Offences Court (POA) is a significant undertaking driven by the need for increased space and compliance with updated legislative standards and accessibility requirements. The existing courthouse's limitations have prompted this move to a larger, 27,000-square-foot city facility. The expanded layout will accommodate the anticipated growth in administrative and prosecutorial duties related to provincial offenses.
Upon completion, the renovated facility will not only offer enhanced accessibility but also be equipped to manage a higher volume of cases efficiently. This strategic relocation within the downtown area will enable the POA court to optimize its operations and better serve the community. Artellix's expertise in wayfinding and signage will ensure that the new facility is user-friendly and supports the court's mission of delivering accessible and efficient justice services.
