De La Salle College's Student Life Centre
Artellix is delighted to have been engaged by De La Salle College to develop a comprehensive wayfinding strategy for the school with the focus on the forthcoming Student Life Centre as a pilot project for implementation. Designed by Moriyama Teshima Architects, the Student Life Centre will serve as a dynamic hub for student activity and a welcoming gateway to the campus. Artellix is working closely with Moriyama Teshima Architects and De La Salle College to develop placemaking elements as well as interpretive signage to support the sustainability initiatives at the centre.
Established in 1851, De La Salle College is Toronto's only private, Catholic, co-educational ministry school. The College emphasizes a holistic educational experience, fostering growth, wellness, and strong relationships beyond the classroom. The new facility will house a student commons, gymnasium, and fitness rooms, centralizing key programs and fostering a greater sense of community. Artellix’s wayfinding strategy will seamlessly integrate with this vision, ensuring that students, faculty, staff, and visitors can easily navigate and engage with this vibrant new space.
Through clear and intuitive experiential design solutions, Artellix aims to support De La Salle College's mission of providing an enriching environment for all students. This project exemplifies Artellix’s commitment to creating user-centered environments that enhance the overall experience and promote a sense of belonging within educational institutions.
