Wayfinding Principles at Georgian College

Cynthia Damar-Schnobb, Founder and CEO of Artellix, recently had the pleasure of guest lecturing on wayfinding for the Honours Bachelor of Interior Design program at Georgian College.

It was wonderful to engage with a group of enthusiastic design students eager to learn about experiential design. The students were incredibly receptive to the information shared, asked insightful questions, and demonstrated a genuine interest in Artellix’s work.

“Sincere thanks to Tara O'Neil for the invitation to speak to the class. It was a privilege to share my knowledge with these talented students, and I wish them all the best as they pursue their careers in interior design. I have no doubt that they will make significant contributions to the field.

Wayfinding encompasses the strategies and design elements that help people navigate complex environments. As an experiential design and wayfinding professional, I am passionate about educating future collaborators on creating spaces that are intuitive and easy to navigate. I believe that wayfinding is an essential aspect of interior design and architecture, and I love talking about what we do at Artellix, and sharing my knowledge with the next generation of designers. I am confident that these students will use their skills to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

I am always grateful for the opportunity to connect with future designers and look forward to seeing their impact on the world of interior design”. ~ Cynthia
