SMPS Annual Symposium: Highlights
SMPS Ontario recently hosted its annual symposium, themed "PIVOT," for marketing and business development professionals. The event featured insightful discussions on adapting to industry changes.
The symposium began with a keynote by Scott Steiding on AI's impact on marketing, setting the tone for adaptation and resilience discussions. Attendees received valuable insights on procurement and market agility.
A highlight was a panel featuring Dr. Sybil Allen, CEO of The Human Factor, who emphasized empathy in organizational transformation, particularly in the AEC sectors. Cynthia Damar-Schnobb, CEO and founder of Artellix, shared her story of having founded her firm. She described challenges, decisions, and the importance of having confidence in one’s strengths and being open to newness., and Ian Chodikoff discussed industry trends and societal impacts. The panel was moderated by Russell Pollard, founder of Framework Leadership, adding depth to resilience and inclusion discussions.
Participants shared practical strategies and networked, leaving with actionable insights for their organizations.
